I started this project with a passion born from a life-long love of electronics and technology in general.
Predictive text technologies and large language models has been a rapidly growing area of interst not just for me, but for many people in the world, for a wide variety of reasons.
Additionally, image generation and manipulation tools and models from DeepDream, to MidJourney, StableDiffusion, Photoshop and many others, have been improving as quickly as they have been gaining in popularity.
My natural interests in these topics and other related technologies led me to an attempt to find and organize the most useful and accessible AI tools in one place for as many people to make use of as possible, with the knowledge that no single person can digest, review, utilize, or improve upon all of the tools available due to the sheer number of options and the exponential pace of expansion.
It is my hope that by curating a collection of the best information and tools available,
we can all work together to test, improve upon, and share the best that human society has to offer in the form of "collective knowledge" we call AI.
This site began as a simple exploration of the artistic expression of generative AI models such as Dall-E & Midjourney. I found these tools intriguing and exciting, as well as fun to use, and so I began to share what I was learning with others via Substack & Patreon. To my happy surprise, people were responsive, found the information helpful and were engaging at a pace I could not have expected.
The website was a small side project for me as I worked full time in the gig-economy to earn a living. As I began to use AI tools more, I found myself using them to make concrete and real improvments in my life that lead to finding a new job, which was a step-up in many ways. Among the many benefits of changing jobs, was the fact that I was now working more directly with technology and tools that I enjoyed using.
More and more often, I was employing AI tools to assist with writing tasks, photography, editing, coding, and brainstorming just to name a few key areas.
In a very short period of time, my income almost tripled (WITHOUT spending more time working), and I began to think more and more about building ExploreAI.Online into a tool that could help more people do as I have done:
Use the powerful, often free or low cost, tools that are available to help us all improve our lives and experience creative expression in the many forms made available through AI technologies.

I aim to search for, review, and curate as many high quality AI resources as possible in an easy-to-navigate website that is fun to explore and remains interesting and helpful.
CONSULTATIONS:
I'm offering live help on Patreon for people interested in the AI technologies who want to collaborate or ask specific questions on how to find tools and apply the technology in their lives to make real improvements.
